I wonder how well a welders chipping hammer would work on a Zed?

Wow! I haven't seen one of those in ages. My dad had a collection of them next to his machines. I could see those getting stuck in a skull.

Has someone who uses them I would not bother. Might get through the skull but I doubt it will destroy the brain. And if there is more than one it is a no go. Rather use a hammar to smash. They don't get stuck.

The spike might get stuck.
The wedge I would think would depend on how sharp it is.

I don't think it's a question of whether it would get stuck or not.
The main problem I see with that particular implement is that the handle is too short.

Good choice. I've got a Ka-bar (same as the pic by it has no serration), I love it. Great for utility and defense, everything i like in a knife.

So God made a farmer.

I weld a lot, they're tools that come in awful handy. I have two or three. A sharp, pointed end would make a good crusher and the sharp, chiseled end, after a bit of sharpening, would be deadly.

Yes, they're fairly light but that could be compensated for with sharp ends.
