The interior of a large ship with no power would give new meaning to Stygian darkness.

Size does not matter. Even our small mine hunter can go pitch black if the lights go out.

Sounds like something you would see in an anime movie or series.

If I had that kind of money I would use a nuclear powered aircraft carrier. I don't know if the ship use sea water for the power plant or not so maybe situate the carrier next to a river or lake. That way I don't have to worry about not having power. The flat top could be used as a garden to grow food. Could potential keep chickens or livestock on the ship or flat top.

Haven't re-read the whole thread so this may have already been addressed...
Moving a large ship would require a TREMENDOUS amount of time and resources...
Why not just leave it in the water?

Well the OP was placing a warship on land using monster movers to move the ships in pieces and reconstruct on land. This is simply because of an irrational fear of biblical flooding like in the new movie Noah. :D not only would one be prepared for a doomsday scenerio with zombies, it's also being prepared for a global flooding, with zombies.

Well, a ZA would be of biblical proportions.

The dead walking the earth and all that.

I can just see Noah, etc., stepping out of the ark after the water level has dropped, finding the rest of humanity are now pissed off drowned zeds !
Once more into the fray,
Into the last good fight I'll ever know,
Live and die on this day,
Live and die on this day.
