I'd love to have a G20. But that means buying new brass and heavier bullets. I already have 2 sets of 10mm/40sw dies so that's a good thing. A 10mm would be a star at the indoor range here. Very rare.

I am holding on to it till I retire.
I need to do some maintenance on my presses, they are not in distress just routine lubrication.
I hope to retire in 4 years and will have time at first to reload and stuff.
Hopefully I will be able to find a part time job to pay for my components.
I have plenty of 9mm and 45 my primary calibers.
Are there any new brass catchers out there?

I was looking at a Remington R51 in 9mm until I realized it is not a pocket pistol, it is larger than my Shield.
That is not to say I wont' get one, I think they are kind of kool looking so once they are commonly available I may get one to play with.
It would probably make a good gun for the wife or maybe my granddaughter.

Just a little update to the R51 statement.
I still have not found one to fondle and see if I like it yet.
But the more I read about the redesign the more I think it might actually be a good gun for a woman.
Recoil reduction is always good, supposed to be soft shooting even with defensive ammo.
Reliability would be key.
They are also supposed to be extremely tolerant of limp wristed grips.
If I can put 500 rounds through one without a hang then it would be a worthy candidate.
I have been wanting to upgrade my wifes go to gun for a while.

As a parting thought.
The secret to life can be summed up with one word.
RESOLVE
That word will get you anything you want, you just have to have enough of it.

Still have not handled a R51
I was told they had one at a local big box store but when I got there it was already gone.
That's ok though.
One will show up soon enough

So he has moved to a new level then?

Update on the R51
I have handled but not shot one.
I found one at Field and Stream for $400
All the pictures I had seen made the barrel look shorter than it actually is.
It is not a small pistol, I think it is going to be on the big side for a womans purse.
It feels ok in the hand, a bit small for me but that is normal.
The fit and finish were good, I saw no flaws on the one I held.
I did not get to dry fire it.

I think I am going to keep my eyes open for a used one.
Holding to my formula for calculating value of used guns I should be able to get one in the $300 range.
IF billary does not get elected.
If she gets elected then all bets are off.
There WILL be a ban and if she can get away with it a confiscation at the level of the one done in Australia.

Not this term anyway but be prepared for them to come back with a vengeance next time.
