Dad has a PS90, I really enjoy shooting it.
As a left-hand only long gun shooter, I am really pleased with the ambidexterity of the new wave of bullpups, (FS2000, P90, Tavor, et al).
There are a number of advantages to the bullpup system: shorter overall length being the primary one, but also the "point-ability" (for lack of a better word), is improved due the the bulk of the weight being closer to your body...
I have shot the PS90, the FS2K, and the Tavor and love all three!
It will be awhile though, (if ever), that they have the mainstream acceptance and parts availability of the AR, so for now I'm stickin' with Stoner...

Read a good article on the Tavor in the same magazine as the shotgun comparison. 12,000 rounds and not a single issue since the first pull. If I could afford a PS90 and it's diet I'd definitely have it already.

Dad bought a Tavor about 6mos ago.
I've put about 500 rounds through it so far. Solid gun. A tad heavy, but it handles well.
As with most bullpups, the trigger leaves a little to be desired, but aftermarket triggers are just hitting the market that are supposed to clean that up quite a bit.

Oh, I know how useful they are. A longer barrel with a shorter gun. More accuracy, velocity, and maneuverability. They're just fuck-ugly to me, is all.

But if you want a compact shot gun I give you the mag 7

Though none of these are used by the police or army. The standard 12 gauge pump action is used. Called the musler

Here is a pic and some humour to boot.

If I had the money yes but my 870 purchased at $500 works very well, mag fed shot gun is good for a high rate of fire but when the mags run dry that's it. pump can keep going as long as you have the ammo, nice sustained fire.
