Brace Stock

If It Goes Bang It Goes Here

Brace Stock

Well as y'all know I have been talking about a brace stock for a while.
I finally got one for my AK pistol, MacAbre picked me one up in the frozen north where he lives.
It took about five minutes to install and I like it.
I enjoy shooting it so much more it's hard to express.

Mileage with these things will vary though, I talked to a guy at the range who had a similar setup that didn't much care for his.
His problem was not with the stock it was with the gun.
All AK pistols are not the same, his had some sort of crazy brake that was factory installed and he was very unhappy with it.
Mine came with the standard AK threads so I was able to put a brake on that I really like.

It is short and handy, the only thing is it is kind of miserable for the people standing next to me due to the configuration of the brake.
But since most people suck and my friends know about it already it's not that big a deal.
It has got me wanting a 7.5 inch barreled AR pistol now.

"Where does he get those wonderful toys?"

Time to get up, you're not dead yet...
but you certainly will be if you don't move your ass!

Don't forget Bob, according to the ATF if you put that brace up to your shoulder you just "redesigned" it into a short barreled rifle. Not that anyone with half a mind really cares. Wouldn't mind getting my hands on a Yugo M92PV or something and slapping one of these on there.
