So...
What is it?

For me it's the original NOTLD or either version of Dawn of the Dead, (both Dawns have their own merits).

How about you?

The original Dawn, but LOTD would be a close second.
I wouldn't mind if someone made a new zed movie released in black & white.

Dawn (1978) and the remake of NotLD (1990).

The Romero originals. NOTLD and DOTD.

Easy answer for me.
I saw Night of the Living Dead at a drive in but wasn't as impressed as I would be by the next up Dawn of the Dead.
The original Dawn of the Dead is still my favorite.
I saw it in the theater on it's first run, I was hooked after that.

The movie which had the biggest impact on me was the original NOTLD and I have probably seen it more than any other zombie flick. A close runner-up would be the new Dawn of the Dead followed by the newer NOTLD.

Tom Savini did a damned good job with the NotLD remake.

The DVD extras for Dawn '04 were great, best ones I've ever had aside from The Devil's Rejects.

I'd have to say Dawn of the Dead '04. Nicely paced, good characters and kinda messed up.

28 Weeks Later a very close second. Yes, I am one of those weirdos who see the infected as zombies. Image
