You probably don't know me from any forum, but then again I'm still not memorable, even having been on this forum for a while now !

I put it down to my dark and mysterious lone wolf persona......

.....or it could be I'm just not liked !

Welcome by me anyway.
Once more into the fray,
Into the last good fight I'll ever know,
Live and die on this day,
Live and die on this day.

Lonewolf, people certainly don't forget you. Try coming in from the storm and sit by the fire for a while eh? People DO like you, but pushing people away is NOT a dark and mysterious lone wolf persona unless you prefer it that way. Why don't you try a more affable greeting instead?

Now, we have a new member here- smile and say hi! ;)

It was reverse psychology, as in, if I said that about myself, members would hopefully jump in and say many good things about myself ! :D

Wolves daren't try and smile, as it just looks like they are snarling, which is a most unfriendly sight.

This forum is a distillation of several other forums.
I wish we could do a better job of getting the word out.

I have managed to unfriend myself to all my friends in real life...

Glad you found us DG! Welcome inside, and thx for joining up!
Most of my comments should be read with your best "BROCK SAMSON" voice. While others should be read with your best "CLINT EASTWOOD" voice. A few, and I mean a very few should be read with your best "JOE PESCI" voice.

Bob has only a very few friends in real life.
A few facts regarding people

Average intelligence is not very intelligent
Being the smartest guy in the room is not always a good thing
Most people will steal your pocket knife
Do not keep your pain meds in the bathroom where strangers have privacy and access to them.
People don't really change, they just change the way they act around you

I remember you Dark Gale.

Bob, you are correct on all counts in that post.

I disagree, some people can change. Not very many can, but some do. 20 years ago I would have thought most folks here were a bit "off". Now I look to you all for knowledge and sometimes an escape from my own little corner of the world.

I don't keep any prescription medications in the bathroom--so no problem there. As for pocket knives, I have never had anyone take one from me--just let them try! :2gun:
