Wouldn't motion sensors work?

Yeah, don't they make solar powered motion detecting light fixtures? Somebody MUST be selling stuff like that out there. If not, there's money to be made with that idea.

I was hoping to use the primer poppers I have already, just modified to make a small short bright flash.

UD, I've used rat traps with a glow stick ss an illumination type perimeter signal.

I drill holes for lashing cords, paint them camouflage, and set up a trip line. You can put two on opposite ends of the same trip line, then you'll know right where the breach is.
This morning, Mrs. Hotlead very calmly said, "Yes, you can have the last bagel, but if you touch the raisin toast, I'll cut you"

"If you don't let your farts out, you'll get bad breath" Me talking to my Niece at the campfire.

How quickly do they light up? I've got some of the high output 30 min. Sticks but I'd have to set them up further away to give them time to light fully. But I like the trap idea, makes some noise as well.

The ones I've used lit up in just a couple seconds, the good quality ones are the ones to use.

The rat traps are also dual purpose, you can use them as traps for squirrels and birds and stuff.
